The Pembina Trails Bison Classic will return from December 11–13, 2025, marking the official tip-off to the 2025–26 Manitoba high school basketball season. The event remains the largest high school girls' basketball tournament in the province, bringing together 16 Varsity and 16 Junior Varsity teams and featuring nearly 380 female athletes.
Games will be hosted across three venues: Vincent Massey Collegiate, Fort Richmond Collegiate, and the University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre, with support from the Bisons Women’s Basketball Program. Full tournament draws for both levels are available for viewing in the official JV and Varsity brackets.
Daily admission is $2, with a weekend pass available for $5.
Tournament results will be posted on the Basketball Manitoba Scoreboard, the MHSAA website, and shared with the Winnipeg Free Press and Winnipeg Sun.
