Crvena Zvezda Basketball Club has announced that Canadian centre Emily Potter has completed a historic 2024-25 season, going undefeated at 27-0 en route to claiming the league championship, national cup title, and Finals MVP honours.

Potter, a 6’4” graduate of Glenlawn Collegiate and the University of Utah, was a dominant presence for Crvena Zvezda throughout the campaign. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, she set the standard, guiding the Serbian club through a flawless season that included a successful run through the EuroCup Women Playoffs and a national championship victory.

Her basketball résumé includes time with Brno (Czech Republic), Esperides and Panathinaikos (Greece), and the Perth Lynx (Australia). This past summer, she trained with the Canadian Senior Women’s National Team, further refining her skills against elite global competition. Off the court, Potter co-hosted the Winnipeg Sea Bears Post Game Show during the 2024 season, bringing her insight and energy to the broadcast booth.

As Crvena Zvezda prepares for another challenging season on multiple fronts, Potter is expected to continue her leadership and high-impact play, reinforcing her reputation as one of Canada’s premier professional basketball talents.
