Winnipeg's Ayob Ayob Signs with Windsor Express of NBL

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Windsor Express announced today the team has signed Canadian-born Ayob Ayob for the up-coming 2017-18 season. In accordance with team policy, terms of the contract were not announced.
The 6’ 7” small forward from Winnipeg comes to the Express from Minnesota State University Moorhead. He is a definite threat from 3-point range and sports a 7’ wingspan. Ayob forces opposing players to shift their shot selection because of his long arms.
In his senior year, Ayob dominated offensively at Minnesota State with 15.5 ppg, 5.3 rpg, and 47.6% shooting from the field after starting 30 of 30 games. He was also named to the All-NSIC Second Team.
“It’ll be a new experience,” Ayob said. “I will play my role and do anything to make the team be
successful as possible. I’m really excited to play with the Express.”
