REMINDER: Canada Basketball Hosting Age Group National Team ID Camp in Wpg for Males & Females Born 2008 to 2012 Sept 19-20

Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce it will host an Age Group National Team ID Camp on Saturday, September 19 and callbacks on Sunday, September 20, at the Sport Manitoba Courts at 145 Pacific Ave.  Mike Meeks, Manager of Youth Player Development for Canada Basketball, will be in Winnipeg to host the ID sessions.  Canada Basketball will evaluate Manitoba male and female talent for potential invitations to the U16 and U19 National Team training camps.

Athletes are to attend the Saturday session. Decisions will be made after Saturday's session, and selected athletes will be invited to Sunday's session.

U16 TEAM (ATHLETES BORN IN 2011 & 2012) - will compete in the 2027 FIBA Americas Qualifying Tournament for a berth in the 2028 U17 WORLD CUP

U19 TEAM (ATHLETES BORN IN 2008, 2009, & 2010) - will compete in the 2027 U19 WORLD CUPS in Pardubice, Czech Republic for the men's cup and Chengdu, China for the women's cup

ID CAMP SCHEDULE

DAY #1 - OPEN

Saturday, September 19

Boys U16 & U19 ID Sessions - 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (all 3 Courts)

Girls U16 & U19 ID Sessions - 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm (all 3 Courts)

DAY # 2 - INVITATION ONLY

Sunday, September 20

Boys U16 & U19 ID Sessions - 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (all 3 Courts)

Girls U16 & U19 ID Sessions - 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm (all 3 Courts)

• Sport Manitoba Courts (aka Sport for Life Centre) at 145 Pacific Ave.  

CAMP REGISTRATION FEE 

• $20 per player is due online at the point of registration.
