The Brandon University Bobcats have opened registration for the Fall 2026 Bobcats Basketball Academy, a seven-session youth development program running Sundays from September 20 to November 1, 2026.
The co-ed academy is open to athletes in three grade groupings: Kindergarten to Grade 4, Grades 5 to 8 and Grades 9 to 12. All sessions will run from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at the Brandon University Healthy Living Centre.
Participants will receive instruction from Brandon University coaches and players from the Bobcats men's and women's basketball programs. Each one-hour session will combine skill development with live games and scrimmages. Training will cover shooting, dribbling, passing, footwork and basketball fundamentals, while players will be grouped by grade to support age-appropriate instruction and competition.

Participants should bring proper gym attire, clean indoor running shoes and a refillable water bottle.
