Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast, we have Sharlene Harding.

She is a native of Mississauga, Ontario, where she went to play at Queen's University and Royal Military College of Canada, becoming an OUA All-Star 

She then enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces, where she continued her athletics career and built a high-level athletic and coaching résumé. 

She competed in 3 World Military Games and over a dozen World Championships, captained the Canadian Armed Forces National Women’s Soccer Team, and coached at the international level with the CAF National Women’s Basketball program.

Since moving to Winnipeg in 2021, she’s spent time coaching with provincial programs and spent the last two years as Head Coach of the Canadian Mennonite University Blazers women’s basketball team.

She has completed a certificate in High Performance Coaching through the University of British Columbia.  She is currently the assistant coach of the Queen's University Women's basketball program.
