Ambush Basketball has opened registration for its 2026–27 club team tryouts, offering opportunities for boys and girls in the U10 to U17 age categories.
The three-night tryout period will run from Tuesday, August 18 to Thursday, August 20, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Youth for Christ, 333 King Street in Winnipeg.
Tryout ScheduleTuesday, August 18 — U16–U17 Boys and Girls
- Boys: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court A
- Girls: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court B
Wednesday, August 19 — U12–U15 Boys
- 2011 and 2012 boys: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court A
- 2013 and 2014 boys: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court B
Thursday, August 20 — U10–U11 Boys and Girls
- Boys: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court A
- Girls: 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Court B
The early-bird tryout fee is $20. The fee increases to $30 at the door, and all participants must register online in advance to reserve a tryout slot.
Athletes should arrive prepared with a water bottle, basketball and reversible jersey.
