Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce the return of an initiative to give away up to 100 FREE basketball nets to be installed on public courts across Manitoba! The "Nothin' But Nets" campaign aims to get every outdoor public basketball court outfitted with a new mesh this summer. Since launching this campaign in 2021, Basketball Manitoba has distributed over 525free nets for public courts to the Manitoba basketball community.
NEW FOR 2026, Basketball Manitoba also has a limited number of new basketball rims available to the community to replace aging or damaged ones in public spaces. Due to their size and weight, the rims will need to be picked up from the Sport Manitoba building in Winnipeg once they have been arranged for. As rims require more work to install a net, these available rims must be installed by or with the permission of the facility owner or manager. More details are in the request form.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!
This campaign is connected to the Manitoba Basketball Outdoor Court Map project, in which only outdoor courts listed on the map are eligible for a free net or rim. The map feature currently includes detailed court specs for over 335 outdoor public courts (with over 840 individual hoops) in Manitoba. If your area's outdoor public court still needs to be added to the map, SUBMIT your specs to us first, then request your free nets or rim.
Basketball Manitoba will provide up to 2 high-quality basketball nets and one rim per court to the first 100 net requests we receive this summer. Those eligible under the terms of the campaign will receive the nets by mail shortly after submitting an online request and will then be responsible for mounting the items in their community. Proof that the nets or rim have been mounted, including a before-and-after photo, will be required for the individual to remain eligible to receive future nets or rims from Basketball Manitoba.

⇾ If YES, then proceed to STEP 2. ⇾ If NO, SUBMIT your court specs to us
STEP 2. IS A NET OR RIM ALREADY REQUESTED? Check the Request Summary below to see if your public court has already submitted a request.
⇾ If YES, then the new equipment should be showing up 2-3 weeks after the requested date shown.
⇾ If NO, proceed to STEP 3
STEP 3. YOU CAN NOW REQUEST A NET OR RIM! Once you have addressed steps 1 and 2, you can request a free basketball net or rim from Basketball Manitoba by completing the form below at the bottom of this page.
