Basketball Manitoba Congratulates Chantal W. of West St. Paul on $5,000 Victory Vault Sweepstakes Win

Basketball Manitoba congratulates to Chantal W. of West St. Paul after she was confirmed as a recent $5,000 winner through the Victory Vault Sweepstakes while selecting Basketball Manitoba as her supported organization!

The win highlights the growing impact of the Victory Vault Sweepstakes in Manitoba, where participants have the opportunity to win weekly cash prizes while also helping support amateur sport across the province.

Through the program, ticket purchasers can choose Basketball Manitoba as their designated organization, with proceeds helping to support initiatives that benefit young athletes and assist in reducing financial barriers to participation in sport. The initiative was launched in Manitoba to help Provincial Sport Organizations and their affiliated clubs create new sources of funding at a time when affordability continues to be a major challenge for many families.

According to previously shared program information tied to the Manitoba launch, Victory Vault was introduced as a way to help ease the financial burden of amateur sport by generating support for organizations and programs that directly serve athletes in communities throughout the province.

Basketball Manitoba noted that the next Victory Vault prize deadline closes tonight, giving Manitobans another opportunity to purchase tickets, support amateur athletes, and take part in the next weekly draw.

Victory Vault Sweepstakes is administered by Ascend Fundraising Solutions and operates in partnership with participating Manitoba Provincial Sport Organizations and related sport entities.

Basketball Manitoba encourages Manitobans to consider supporting the initiative as a way to contribute to the continued growth and accessibility of amateur sport in the province, while also having the opportunity to win cash prizes.

VAULT IS NOW OPEN: Basketball Manitoba and Victory Vault Sweepstakes have announced a new fundraising initiative to support amateur athletes and help address the rising cost of participation in basketball in Manitoba.

Launching in Manitoba on April 15, 2026, the Victory Vault Sweepstakes will offer Manitobans weekly chances to win cash prizes while directing ticket proceeds toward initiatives supporting young athletes and amateur sport organizations across the province.

The new initiative comes at a time when the cost of sport continues to be a growing barrier for many families. According to the 2024 Jumpstart State of Play Youth Report, 47 percent of people identified cost as the number one reason they do not participate in sport, making affordability the single largest barrier to play in Canada. Families are increasingly facing annual sport expenses that can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars per child, particularly in competitive programs.

Victory Vault Sweepstakes has been designed to help ease that burden by creating a new revenue stream for Manitoba’s Provincial Sport Organizations and their affiliated clubs. By generating additional funding, the program aims to help offset costs that might otherwise be passed on to athletes and their families, contributing to a more accessible and inclusive sport system across Manitoba.

Each week, participants can purchase sweepstakes tickets for a chance to win cash prizes. As part of the process, purchasers will be able to choose a participating Provincial Sport Organization (such as Basketball Manitoba) to support, so that every ticket sold directly benefits amateur sport in communities throughout Manitoba.

The initiative is being administered by Ascend Fundraising Solutions and is being launched in partnership with participating Manitoba Provincial Sport Organizations, including Athletics Manitoba, Baseball Manitoba, Basketball Manitoba, the Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association, Manitoba Horse Council, Racquetball Manitoba, Sport Manitoba, and others.

Ascend Fundraising Solutions is a leader in digital fundraising, having helped raise more than $2 billion through its platform and strategy. The organization works with more than 800 charitable organizations worldwide, supporting fundraising campaigns ranging from professional sports 50/50 draws to hospital foundation lotteries and community-based initiatives.
