The Selkirk Junior Royals have announced details for its upcoming 2026 Spring Break camp, offering four days of basketball instruction and skill development for students in Grades 5 to 11.

The camp will run from Monday, March 30 to Thursday, April 2, 2026, with two age-based sessions designed to match player stage and experience. The Grades 5 to 8 group will take part each day from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., while the Grades 9 to 11 group will run from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The program is being hosted by Dean Goodbrandson, current Royals Varsity Boys Head Coach. Guest coaches are expected to include former university, college, and Royals players, creating a strong learning environment for young athletes looking to improve their game during the school break.

Organizers say the camp is intended to provide excellent preparation for the upcoming spring season, while also helping players build a foundation for the next school basketball season. The camp is open to boys and girls and will include a camp t-shirt as part of registration.

Registration fees have been set at $125 for students in Grades 5 to 8 and $150 for students in Grades 9 to 11.

The camp will be held at Lord Selkirk Regional, 221 Mercy Street in Selkirk, Manitoba. Registration is available through the QR code featured on the event poster. Questions and payment arrangements can be directed to springbreakbbcamp@gmail.com.
