ELEVATE Sports Group has announced the Black History Month Charity Youth Basketball Camp, a free youth basketball camp scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026.

The camp will be held at the Sport Manitoba Courts at 145 Pacific Avenue in Winnipeg, and will offer two age-based sessions to ensure appropriate instruction and competition. The Ages 7–12 session will run from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the Ages 13–17 session from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. The camp is free of charge.

Over the course of the camp, coaches will provide participants with hands-on basketball instruction in a fun, high-energy, and positive environment. Programming will include fundamental skill stations, strength and conditioning demonstrations, and basketball-related contests. Campers will be grouped by age to support effective learning and development.

Participants are asked to arrive in athletic attire, including gym shorts and sneakers, and to bring a basketball. The camp is open to athletes of all skill levels, from those new to the game to experienced players looking to continue developing their skills.

Each participant will receive a camp team photo with the coaches, as well as take-home items provided by event sponsors. Families registering more than one camper are asked to register each participant separately.

This event is a collaboration between ELEVATE Sports Group, Basketball Manitoba, the Manitoba Basketball African Association, MARK=1T Consulting, NinetyFive Beauty Salon, and Hood Fams.
