Tec Voc High School has announced it will host the 49th Annual Winnipeg Invitational Basketball Tournament (W.I.T.), running January 14–17, 2026. One of Manitoba’s longest-standing high school basketball events, the W.I.T. will once again bring together many of the province’s top varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball programs for four days of high-level competition.
Games will be played at Tec Voc High School (1555 Wall Street) and Sisler High School (1360 Redwood Avenue), with both venues serving as key hubs for tournament action throughout the week.
The W.I.T. has built a strong reputation over nearly five decades for competitive play, strong school spirit, and an outstanding game-day environment. The 2026 edition continues that tradition, offering student-athletes a valuable in-season competitive experience against elite opponents from across the province.
Admission is $2 per day. Fans who cannot attend in person can still follow every game. Live streams, schedules, results, and team rosters will be available through the official tournament website:

In addition, all scores and results will be tracked live on the Basketball Manitoba SCOREBOARD.
Tec Voc High School looks forward to welcoming teams, officials, and spectators for four days of championship-level high school basketball in Winnipeg.
