The Brandon University Bobcats has announced the commitment of Halle Penner as a 2026-27 recruit for the Bobcats women’s basketball program.
Penner arrives with an impressive list of accomplishments from the Manitoba basketball pathway. In 2025, she earned Basketball Manitoba 3A Player of the Year honours, was named a MHSAA all-star, and competed at the Canada Summer Games.
Penner will continue her high school career this winter with the Sanford Sabres, who will host Provincials next month to close out her final season.
