Mini Ballers has announced that registration for Winter 2026 programs will open on Friday, September 19.

Beat the cold this winter by securing a spot in one of the popular programs that have already filled up quickly this fall. Families are strongly encouraged to register early, as several fall favourites reached waitlist status and winter classes are expected to follow the same trend.

Fall favourites that filled quickly this season included:

  • SWCC Richmond (Fort Richmond) – Sun 12:15–1:00 PM – School Age (5–8)
  • Westdale CC (Charleswood) – Sat 10:15–11:00 AM – Preschool 1 (2.5–3.5)
  • Westdale CC (Charleswood) – Sat 11:15 AM–12:00 PM – Preschool 2 (3–5)
  • Westdale CC (Charleswood) – Sat 12:15–1:00 PM – School Age (5–8)
  • Linden Woods CC – Thu 5:10–5:55 PM – School Age (5–8)
  • Linden Woods CC – Wed 6:05–6:50 PM – School Age (5–8)
  • Templeton CC (Maples/Riverbend) – Sat 9:15–10:00 AM – Infant/Toddler (1–2.5)
  • Templeton CC (Maples/Riverbend) – Sat 10:15–11:00 AM – Preschool 1 (2.5–3.5)
  • Templeton CC (Maples/Riverbend) – Sat 11:15–12:00 PM – Preschool 2 (3–5)

To meet growing demand, Mini Ballers is expanding its popular School Age 3x3 program from two offerings to four this winter. Families can now access 3x3 basketball at the following locations:

  • Norberry Glenlee – Wednesday nights
  • Linden Woods CC – Thursday nights
  • East Elmwood – Saturdays
  • École Templeton – Sundays

The School Age FUNdamentals program (ages 5–8) remains a strong starting point, with a natural pathway for players to step up into the 3x3 model. The 3x3 program blends offensive skill development with game play and introduces basketball rules in a fun, team-based setting.

Families are reminded that classes are designed to be flexible, with pro-rated registration available for those joining mid-season if space permits.
