Winnipeg’s Emily Potter has shared the news that she has officially signed with Cathay Life, a professional women’s basketball club based in Taiwan. Potter will compete in the 2025–26 season of the Women’s Basketball League Asia (WBLA).

Potter, a 6’5” (1.96m) centre/power forward, enters the WBLA in her prime after a dominant season in EuroCup Women where she was recognized as one of the top frontcourt players.
