Basketball Manitoba is pleased to announce it will host an Age Group National Team ID Camp on Saturday, September 20 and callbacks on Sunday, September 21, at the Sport Manitoba Courts at 145 Pacific Ave. Mike Meeks, Manager of Youth Player Development for Canada Basketball and Jodi Gram, Age Group National Team Coach & Jr Academy Mentor Coach with Canada Basketball, will be in Winnipeg to host the ID sessions. Canada Basketball will evaluate Manitoba male and female talent for potential invitations to the U17 and U18 National Team training camps.
Athletes are to attend the Saturday session. Decisions will be made after Saturday's session, and selected athletes will be invited to Sunday's session.
U17 Men’s and Women's National Teams
Canada Basketball is seeking to identify talent to build its 2026 U17 National Team Open Identification camp will be held for athletes born in 2009 and 2010.
U18 Men’s and Women's National Teams
Canada Basketball is seeking to identify talent to build its 2026 U18 National Team Open Identification camp will be held exclusively for athletes born in 2008.
ID CAMP SCHEDULE
DAY #1 - OPEN
- U17: Saturday, September 20 - 11:30pm-1:30pm
- U18: Saturday, September 20 - 1:30pm-3:30pm
- U17 Sunday, September 21 - 11:00am - 12:30pm
- U18 Sunday, September 21 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
- Sport Manitoba Courts (aka Sport for Life Centre) at 145 Pacific Ave.
- $15 per player is due online at the point of registration.
