Winnipeg Team Mayhem Basketball Club has announced its official tryouts for the upcoming 2025–26 season.
Tryouts will be held over three days, Friday, August 15 to Sunday, August 17, at Calvin Christian Collegiate (706 Day Street, Winnipeg). The tryout fee is $40, payable in cash or via e-transfer to alexbarra05@hotmail.com. Refunds will not be provided if more than eight players try out and a team is not ultimately formed.
Tryout Schedule:
Friday, August 15
- 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Girls Grades 6–9 (2014–2011)
- 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Boys Grades 11–12 (2009–2008)
Saturday, August 16
- 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Boys Grades 9–10 (2011–2010)
- 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM: Girls Grades 10–12 (2010–2008)
- 3:00 PM – 4:30 PM: Boys Grade 7 (2013–2012)
- 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM: Boys Grades 5–6 (2015–2014)
Sunday, August 17
- 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM: Youth Developmental Program (Boys & Girls, ages 10–17, 20 spots)
- 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM: Apparel fitting and ordering session
Important Notes:
- All participants must bring a basketball, a dark and white shirt, non-marking shoes, a full labelled water bottle, and appropriate gear.
- Offers made following tryouts must be accepted the same day with a $100 deposit to secure the roster spot. Delayed deposits will result in the spot being forfeited.
- Players may try out for a higher grade, but final placement will follow Basketball Manitoba’s year-of-birth guidelines.
