Wesmen Athletics has announced the return of its popular summer basketball camp, running August 11–15 at the Duckworth Centre. Open to boys ages 11–17, the camp provides an opportunity to learn from some of Manitoba’s top basketball minds.
The sessions will be led by three-time Canada West All-Star Shawn Maranan and current Wesmen and Winnipeg Sea Bears assistant coach Braeden Floyd. Participants will receive high-level instruction in fundamental skills, in-game tactics, and decision-making in a supportive, high-energy environment.
The camp will be split into two age groups:
- Ages 11–14: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Ages 15–17: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Location: Duckworth Centre, University of Winnipeg
Cost: $220 per participant
Registration is now open and available through wesmen.ca under the Community tab. Space is limited — early registration is encouraged.
