Queen 3 Basketball has announced the launch of a new outdoor 3x3 women’s basketball league in Winnipeg, open to athletes aged 14 to 40. The Queen 3 League will feature two competitive divisions—Premiere (14–18 years) and Crown (19–40 years)—designed to showcase elite female talent while fostering mentorship and community engagement across generations.
Built around more than just on-court performance, the Queen 3 League emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and development. By encouraging intergenerational play, the league creates a platform where experienced athletes can help guide emerging players, contributing to a stronger basketball community across Manitoba.
Games will be hosted outdoors at the Zueike Campus at 65 Trottier Bay in South Winnipeg, offering a high-energy 3x3 format that is fast-paced, skill-driven, and fan-friendly. The league aims to activate local courts, draw community support, and deliver an atmosphere where basketball becomes a cultural event as much as a competitive one.
Queen 3’s mission is to elevate basketball by creating an electrifying outdoor environment that celebrates female athletes and the communities that support them. Its vision is to grow the game from the ground up—connecting players, fans, and local culture through dynamic events and meaningful experiences.
Registration is now open at www.queen3basketball.com, with games scheduled to begin this summer. Teams are encouraged to register early as space is limited.
