Team Mayhem Basketball Club has announced the launch of its 2025 Summer Elite Training Program for male and female athletes in Grades 7 through 12. The program will offer high-intensity, four-hour evening sessions at Calvin Christian Collegiate (706 Day Street, Winnipeg), with a focus on both individual skill development and applied gameplay.
New for this summer, the training model separates boys' and girls' sessions and limits participation to 12 athletes per age group to ensure individualized instruction. Each session includes two hours of focused skills training followed by two hours of scenario-based game application. Participants will explore offensive and defensive tactics in real-time, including breakdowns of actions such as the pick-and-roll, with video support and post-session review.
Boys sessions will run on July 8, 11, 17, 22, 25, 31 and August 5, 8, and 14. Girls sessions will be held on July 10, 15, 18, 24, 29 and August 1, 7, 12, and 15. All sessions take place from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a per-session fee of $50.
Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged. Participants must bring a basketball, non-marking shoes, a dark and white shirt, and a labelled water bottle to each session.
