Basketball Manitoba hosted its 48th Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 18, and the evening saw its Board of Directors election for the upcoming 2024-25 year.  The online meeting saw the re-election of Chiranjit Goswami, Varinder Brar and Kirby Schepp, each to another 2-year term being elected by the membership.  Stacy Hawash, a very active coach and referee in the sport and former MABO president, was elected to the Board for the first time at the meeting.  All positions are 2-year terms.

Long-time Board members Ross Wedlake and Arlyn Filewich are stepping down. Following the AGM, the new Board continued with Sara Gillis as President of Basketball Manitoba. The other executive members reappointed to their positions were Mike Weekes as Vice President and James Dark as Treasurer.
