The Bobcats men's basketball team is inviting the hoops community for the annual Holiday Hoops Camp on Monday, Dec. 4.

The one-day camp is a basketball-themed hoops extravaganza, hosted by the Bobcat coaching staff and players. Just like previous years, the event is a fun kick-off to the holiday season while supporting families in need in our own community.

It will take place from 6-8 pm in the main gym of the Healthy Living Centre.

"This event has become an annual favourite for our team that we look forward to," says Bobcat coach Gil Cheung. "Celebrating the start of the holiday season with basketball, all while supporting our community is a great opportunity, so we are excited to host this event once again this year."

There is no charge for the session but participants are encouraged to bring a donation: either monetary or a new unwrapped toy to be donated in lieu of a registration fee.

Donations will go to families in need this time of year.

Participants are asked to also bring appropriate indoor footwear and attire as well as a refillable water bottle.
