REMINDER: Canada Basketball Super Clinic returns virtually in May, Registration Now Open

Canada Basketball’s Super Clinic returns virtually this May and June and will be featuring full range of NCCP workshops and professional development coach education opportunities.

SuperClinic is Canada’s premier basketball coach education event, celebrating Canadian and international coaches of all levels, from grassroots to high performance. This year, Super Clinic has been redesigned to align with Canada Basketball’s three coaching pathways:

Community Sport (Physical Literacy): May 31^st – June 3^rd

• This week follows the Community Sport Pathway and aligns with the FUNdamentals NCCP course. It is intended for coaches of all ages but is most suitable for coaches and parents who are new to coaching and who wish to coach children’s basketball. It is focused on coaches working with athletes aged 5-10. 

Competition Introduction: June 7^th – June 10^th

• The focus of this week is for coaches and parents working with players who have varying levels of playing experience. It is intended for coaches working with athletes aged 9-15, and aligns with the Learn to Train and Train to Train certifications. 

Competition Development: June 14^th – June 17^th

• Our final week aligns with the Competition Development Pathway and is focused on coaches working with athletes at the competitive level who may be working towards or are pursuing university, college, or national team opportunities. This week is targeted for coaches working with athletes age 16+. 

Also returning to Super Clinic this year is the highly engaging Chalk Talk session! Chalk Talk is an interactive evening of learning that will feature six of Canada’s top coaching minds sharing their ideas and expertise while Super Clinic attendees rotate through virtual environments to listen, learn, and ask questions.
