Basketball Manitoba has announced that it will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 7:00 pm, in a virtual online setting using a video and phone conference call system. The meeting is open to all Basketball Manitoba members and to the public. - 6 to 10 registered teams = 1 vote
- 11 to 25 registered teams = 2 votes
- 26 to 75 registered teams = 3 votes
- 76+ registered teams = 4 votes
D. Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame (MBHOF) = 1 vote
E. Manitoba High Schools Athletic Association (MHSAA) = 2 votes
F. Brandon University Bobcats = 1 vote
G. University of Manitoba Bisons = 1 vote
H. University of Winnipeg Wesmen = 1 vote
I. Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference (MCAC) = 1 vote
J. Manitoba Wheelchair Sport Association (MWSA) = 1 vote
K. Manitoba Aboriginal Sport & Recreation Council (MASRC) = 1 vote
The 2023 AGM will see five (5) current Board Positions up for election. Those wanting to nominate an individual to the Board of Directors must complete the Board Nomination Form by Friday, June 9, 2023, at 4:30 pm.
