Keyano Huskies women's basketball team is currently ranked No. 11 in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association.

Huskies, with a record of nine wins and three losses in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference North Division, currently showcase the skills of five Manitoba hoopsters

  • No. 2  Mzna Mohammed, 1st year, University Studies, DMCI Maroons
  • No. 3 Zera Lynn Panesa, 5th year, Business Administration, Sisler Spartans
  • No, 5 Madison Zadro, 1st year, University Studies, Dakota Collegiate Lancers
  • No. 9 Emma Tomchuk, 1st year, University Studies, RD Parker Trojans
  • No. 24  Keneisha Nepinak, 2nd year, Business Administration, Tec Voc Hornets

Panesa, former 2017 Manitoba Colleges Athletic Conference MVP while playing for the Red River Rebels,  is averaging 8.9 points per game (ppg) while hitting the hardwood for 25.5 minutes. She has 2.4 assists per game (apg) and 1.5 steals (spg).

Mohammed, with 14.1 minutes per game, is having an excellent rookie campaign with 5.0 ppg, 2.1 apg and 1.8 spg.

In the season opener, a October 21, 2022, 80-38 victory over NWP Wolves from Grande Prairie Alberta, Mohammad had 12 points and 9 steals! The next day, in a 68-47 decision against the Wolves, the former DMCI Maroon dropped 13 points and 5 steals.
