Wesmen Athletics officially rang in the holiday season with details of the 54th Classic, which returns after a two-year hiatus and features men's basketball for the first time since 2016.

Ticket details were also announced, with a tournament pass going for $30, Day 1 and Day 2 passes for $10 and a Championship Day pass for $12. Tickets can be purchased online now.  Information can be found at wesmen.ca/classic, and tickets for the tournament (and all Wesmen games) can be purchased at wesmen.ca/tickets.

After a successful venture with our 50-50 in 2021, we’re back to do it again.  You can buy your tickets online now with a chance to win up to $5,000 while helping support our Wesmen student-athletes in the process.  The final draw will be made Feb. 18, 2023, and this year we are adding in an extra prize: an early-bird draw for a Wesmen-branded Fender guitar will be made Jan. 14, 2023.

The draw was unveiled and features eight teams from five provinces and three conferences, including three teams ranked in the most recent national coaches poll.

The Winnipeg Wesmen will open their tournament with a Wednesday-night clash against the Algoma Thunderbirds of the OUA.
