Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast we have Michael Tan.
He has been a coach at Sisler High School since 2004, where he helped lead them to back-to-back provincial championships in 2015 and 2016. He has coached many players who have gone on to play at the college, USports and NCAA Division 1 level.
Additionally, he has coached at the Jr High level, as well as the club level with NABA Winnipeg, the Manitoba Magic, and Manitoba’s TAP program.
He has been involved with the Manitoba Provincial Team program since 2009, coaching at 15U and 17U levels and he was an assistant coach with the 2017 Canada Games Team that won a Bronze Medal.
This summer, he will lead the 15U Female Manitoba Provincial Team as its Head Coach to the Canada Basketball National Championships in Quebec.
