Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast we have Charles Carlos

He has been coaching basketball in Manitoba for the past 25 years. He is the founder and director of Ignite Basketball Canada.

He played for Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Institute, winning a Provincial Championship in 1992 

He played post-secondary basketball at Providence University College and toured India and the Philippines with the Athletes in Action USA Basketball Team.

As a coach, he has coached at Arthur A. Leach, Tec Voc, and the North American indigenous Games team.  He won a Jr. High Provincial Championship, was named North Central regional coach of the year with Providence College, the WMBA Bruce Russell Memorial Coach of the Year, and Jr High Girls Coach of the Year. 

He is the current Manitoba 15U Male Provincial Team head coach and will lead the team to this summer’s Canada Basketball National Championships in Edmonton.
