Today on the Basketball Manitoba Podcast we have Alyssa Cox (Grant)

She has been involved in basketball as a player and coach for over 15 years. 

Currently, she is the head coach of the Junior Varsity girls team at Shaftesbury High School and an assistant coach with the University of Winnipeg. 

She graduated from the University of Winnipeg in 2015, where she played for five years with the Wesmen. 

As a coach, she’s spent four years working with Basketball Manitoba as a Center for Performance. 

She’s been the head coach of the 15U and 17U female Provincial Teams Winning a bronze medal at the 2017 Canada Summer Games. 

This summer, she will lead the 18U Manitoba Provincial Team at the 2022 Canada Games in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
