As part of the Safe at Home Manitoba Grant Program, the University of Winnipeg Recreation Services department with the support of Basketball Manitoba is bringing community users free online basketball sessions with professional basketball player and Wesmen alumni Kerri Kuzbyt.

Kerri is a former point guard for the University of Winnipeg Wesmen and has also played professionally overseas. We are super excited to have her lead these sessions as she’s been such a great role model in the basketball community for many years now.

Join Kerri every Wednesday from February 10 to March 31, 2021, at 5:00 pm for fun and interactive basketball sessions. These sessions will be geared towards 10-15 year olds and no experience is required! Each week she’ll coach you through fundamental movement patterns, basic fitness exercises, ball handling techniques and a cool down. All you’ll need is a basketball, water bottle and a clear area of floor to participate! All are welcome! 🏀
