The 6'2" small forward Seth Salamandyk comes to Providence to study Psychology and play basketball for the Pilots.

His high school head coach, Matt Hagborg had this to say about the skill and character of Seth. “Seth has put in a ton of hard work over the last couple of years to really excel his game offensively and defensively. He averaged a solid 14 points per game with a season-high of 31 points against RDPC, and averaged 74% from the charity stripe this season.

Seth’s also one of those players that can make teams pay if left open on the three-point line, averaging 35% when shooting from deep.

While Seth can quietly run-up the scoreboard playing multiple positions, his defense continues to improve. He is athletic and quick enough to press all game and guard other teams' top players.  With more attributes to learn and room for massive potential, Providence and coach Pierre will be a great fit for Seth, as he continues to chase his basketball dream.”

Head coach Pierre also commented about Seth by saying, “I had the chance to meet and coach Seth last summer during the Heart & Hustle Basketball Camp organized by The Pas & Area Basketball Association and myself. Seth is a young man full of energy, passion and potential. Coming to us with an interesting background, I’m looking forward to having him at Providence and help him reach new heights, not only on the basketball court but off the court.”
