The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum are now two-thirds of the way through our drive to create an Endowment Fund for the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum. Our hope is that we can raise at least $50,000.00 ourselves, to be matched 50 cents per dollar by the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program (MHTP) and the Winnipeg Foundation. When we reach that target we will be able to fund most, if not all, our current operating costs from the annual proceeds. Beyond that, the plan is to fund projects to enhance and expand Basketball in the Province of Manitoba.

The offer of the "stretch dollars" from the province of Manitoba government is for three years and we are coming into the home stretch. Support money from the Winnipeg Foundation is a bonus and I am hoping that we will reach the maximum possible before the program ends.

Some of you have already supported our drive and we thank you sincerely for that. However, I am asking that you might consider a further donation to help us reach and, hopefully, surpass our goal. The final dollars are always the hardest to realize. Please help us get there.

To those of you who have not yet donated, this is a chance for you to assist in this worthy cause. The history of Manitoba basketball is on display at the Museum that is a part of the Hall of Fame. We believe that it is important to preserve and display this history for those that will follow us. Please, not only just consider donating, but actually do so, with a donation of whatever fits your situation. Thank you in advance.

Please make out your cheque to "The Winnipeg Foundation" and note that it is to go to  "The Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame and Museum".

Credit Card donations can be made online at www.mbhof.com under the fundraising section or at the following link :
