The Winnipeg Blizzards Boys Basketball Club have announced their tryout details for the 2018-19 season for boys born 2004 and 2005.
- Tuesday August 21, 2018 - Boys Born 2003 / Upcoming Grade 10- YDC - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Wednesday August 22, 2018 - Boys Born 2005 / Upcoming Grade 8- Bronx Park CC- 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Thursday August 23, 2018 - Boys Born 2004 / Upcoming Grade 9 - Bronx Park CC- 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Friday August 24, 2018 - Boys Born 2004 / Upcoming Grade 9 - Bronx Park CC- 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM (NEW)
- Friday August 24, 2018 - Boys Born 2003 / Upcoming Grade 10- YDC - 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
TRYOUT LOCATIONS:
- 2004 & 2005 - Bronx Park Community Centre, 720 Henderson Hwy
- 2003 Bronx - YDC, 1077 St. James Street
NOTES:
- One time Tryout fee is $25.00
- All players interested in joining the club need to attend the try-outs before each season
- Please bring your own basketball and water bottle
- Please bring a reversible jersey if you have one (or bring a dark-colored and light-colored shirt)
- All players are notified within a week after the try-outs of the results / selection
- A season with a Blizzards Boys team starts late August at try-outs and ends in May or June each year.
- Some teams pause for School Basketball season (January-March)
- Calendar of practices and competitions depends on each team and age level, you need to contact the coach of a specific age to learn about schedule
- During the season, most of our practices are in the North East of the city.
