BASKETBALL RUNS FEB 22 & 23: The Canada Deaf Games (CDG) will be held from February 19-24 in Winnipeg at venues around the city and will compete in six sports (Bowling, Curling, Ice Hockey, Men’s Basketball, Volleyball and Snowboarding).  The event will feature a 3x3 basketball format for males ages 16+ and will take place at Red River College on February 22 & 23.  The only modification to the 3x3 game will see a flag person next to the referee to signal when a whistle is blown.  Teams from Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Quebec, Alberta and British Columbia will be taking part in it at both the North and South gyms on the RRC campus.  Basketball Manitoba and MABO are pleased to welcome teams from around Canada to Winnipeg for the 2 day event.
