Jon is offering an elite youth camp for grades 6 to 9 on January 2nd & 3rd. This camp will explore advanced skill and conceptual development. Jon will utilize video for teaching skills and concepts: Incorporating delayed video feedback along with video modelling of NBA and NCAA players to enhance learning. Jon is highly interested in working with players who have aspirations of playing college basketball.
Jon brings experience from youth to university. Jon spent two seasons with the University of Manitoba Men's Basketball Program and is currently in his first year as an assistant coach with the University of Winnipeg Men's Program. Additionally, Jon is an assistant coach with the John Taylor Collegiate Varsity Boys and video editor for Draft Express. Jon has worked two years with Basketball Manitoba's 17U Male team. Jon spent the last 5 years as the Head Coach of the John Taylor Collegiate JV Boys.
In addition to Jon's coaching experience, Jon has completed video work for FIBA. Canadian Junior & FISU National teams and FastDraw.
