Sample ImageBasketball Manitoba will be hosting another NCCP 'Introduction to Competition Advanced' course on June 21-23 in Winnipeg.  This new offering replaces the old NCCP Level 2 Technical and Theory courses and is an advanced course for coaches of athletes 11-16 years of age and for individuals interested in coaching within the Competition stream of the new NCCP.  This level is also required for all coaches who are interested in coaching in future Provincial Team or Manitoba Games levels.  The course will comprise both classroom and on court sessions and will focus on; LTAD review, mental training, practice planning, competition planning, fundamental movement skills, technical movement skills, offensive and defensive concepts, a practical application, and a debrief evaluation.  For details and to register...
