    Wesmen Prepare To Host Playoff Series Against Trinity Western

    For the first time since 2002, the University of Winnipeg Wesmen Men’s Basketball team will be at the Duckworth Centre for a Canada West Playoff series.  Head coach Mike Raimbault and his team finished the regular season with a record of 14-8 and a second place finish in the Prairie Division. Winnipeg will challenge the Trinity Western University Spartans in the best of three Canada West quarter-final series.  Wesmen fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing red and be part of the first ever “Red Out At The Duckworth".  Game times and dates are as follows...

    1. Game One - Friday, February 22 – 7:00 p.m.

    2. Game Two – Saturday, February 23 – 7:00 p.m

    3. Game Three (if necessary) – Sunday, February 24 – 2:00 p.m.



    General Admission Prices:

    Adult – $10.00

    Students (17 & Under) - $5.00

    UW Students – FREE

    Youth 12 & Under – FREE when accompanied by an adult





    The Winnipeg Wesmen are encouraging groups to attend the playoff series and take advantage of a special playoff ticket deal.

    Youth Group Deal: Youth groups can purchase a special package to each game for only $4.00, which includes a popcorn and a Coke.
