With the Give the Gift of the Game fundraising campaign you can help Team Canada as they strive for excellence in international basketball. With a successful 2012 season, basketball in Canada keeps trending upwards. Some notable successes this summer were: Senior women’s national team qualified for the 2012 London Olympics Games and earned a top-8 finish, U17 women’s team won a bronze medal at the FIBA U17 World Championships, both U18 men’s and women’s teams qualified for next year’s FIBA U19 World Championship. To top it off we had the exciting announcement of the new leadership for the senior men’s national program, with Steve Nash as General Manager and Jay Triano as Head Coach.
