Basketball BC will be hosting a Youth Coaching Summit event that will be available live on webcast for all youth coaches across the country on September 29, 2012 from 9:00am – 2:30pm PST. The 2012 Youth Coaching Summit will feature Allison McNeill, Brian McCormick and Mike McNeil. For details on how to watch it... This summit will cover the following topics:
- Session #1 – Fun Games to Use with Children to Develop Skills
- Session #2 – Fun Things in your Warm-Up to Develop Athleticism
- Session #3 – X’s and O’s for Youth Basketball
- Session #4 – Skill Development with Young Athletes
- Session #5 – Games to Use to Develop Tactical Skills
To register for the webcast, coaches will need to visit www.coachesclipboard.ca and register for an annual subscription for $10.00. On September 29th, 2012, log in with the subscription and click the “Watch Live” button on the front page for access. Once a subscriber, coaches will be able to view the conference on-line and will have a year’s subscription to the Coaches Clipboard plus receive two coaching articles per week from Mike McNeill.
