The Manitoba Mavericks Basketball Club will be holding open tryouts for the upcoming 2012-2013 season on Monday, August 13 and Tuesday, August 14, 7:00 to 9:00 PM (both evenings) at the University of Manitoba, Investors Group Athletic Centre, East Court for Grade 9 boys (born 1998 or later). Please note:
- There will be a $10 ID camp registration fee.
- Players should bring their own basketball (with their name on it), non-marking gym shoes, and water.
- The team will play in the WMBA Rising Star league (RSL) qualifying tournament with the intent of playing in the RSL next year.
- The team will play in up to 5 (or more) tournaments in Winnipeg as well as outside of the province
