Greaves, a 5-foot-7 point guard, spent the past two seasons at Oak Hill Academy in Wilson, Va. In 2011-12, she averaged 13 points and six assists per game after returning from surgery which sidelined her for all but two quarters of the 2010-11 campaign. In 2009-10 she averaged 22 points, seven assists and 3.5 steals per game as a member of the Glenlawn Collegiate varsity team. In 2008-09, she was the starting point guard on the team as a ninth grader.
In the summer of 2009 she received first-team all-star honors at the Canadian National tournament, and was selected as an alternate player for the Team Canada Cadet National Team in 2010. Greaves also was ranked in the top 100 in a pair of scouting publications in the United States – the Carolina Scouting Report and the National Women’s Basketball Insider.
