With only one player coming back from the 2000 Sydney Olympics (Teresa Gabriele) the team will be going through this Olympic experience with their eyes wide open. The team shouldn't be caught off guard, with most of the players being a part of World Championships and more recently, the pressure of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament earlier in July. With the core of the team being together for 4+ years, the team should be prepared and ready to go, once the tournament begins on July 28.

The team has a mix of veterans with plenty of experience like Teresa Gabriele, Kim Smith and Chelsea Aubry, along with a mix of youth with Natalie Achonwa and Michelle Plouffe. To see the complete roster, click here
