On Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at Tec Voc High school located at 1555 Wall Street, the Action Jackson Basketball Skills Competition will kick off the Winnipeg invitational Tournament. Time of the skills competition will be 6 – 9PM. The challenge is an opportunity for boys and girls ages 6-18 to showcase their dribbling, passing and shooting skills in a time-based, half-court obstacle course. Proceeds raised will be to help with the continuing development of youth basketball. It is $2.00 to enter the gauntlet. A participant may enter as many times as he or she wishes. The ages categories are divided as follows...
- This is a chance for young basketball enthusiasts to exhibit their skill.
- The target is a boys & girls division and is open to youth ages 6 to 18.
- The skills competition will be a 3 hour event with a voucher for dinner provided to Chicken Delight based on level of package purchased at time of registration.
- Participants must compete during the scheduled time of the competition. IE: Start time 6pm – 9pm (vouchers for dinner must be redeemed at your nearest city Chicken delight location). One voucher per visit. One voucher per person.
- Participants must be ready to compete between the scheduled time-frame.
- Parents will need to sign a liability waiver and registration form for their youth to compete.
The participant will compete against both boys and girls in their respected age category. The key to winning is complete the gauntlet completely as fast as possible.
- 6-7 - Category 1
- 8-9 - Category 2
- 10-11 - Category 3
- 12-13 - Category 4
- 14-15 - Category 5
- 16-18 - Category 6
The winners at each age category will receive a prize and be recognized on the Basketball Manitoba website.

The participant must complete the circuit twice. The image is a half court representation. The gauntlet will be the full court experience. Be prepared to run!!!
