The sport of basketball dominated the recent Sport Manitoba Scholarship Awards which are issued to students pursuing a post secondary education in Manitoba. Congratulations to Melanie Edel who was awarded the $1000 Milt Stegal Scholarship Award! Mel will be suiting up for the Manitoba Bisons this fall and was also the recipient of the Ron Meyers Leadership Award issued by the MBCA in the spring.
