Basketballs for Inner City Kids is looking for people who might be interested in volunteering an hour or two on Canada Day, between 11am and 3pm, at various playgrounds in Winnipeg's inner city. Approximately 500 inner city kids will have received free basketballs from the project by the end of June, so there will be a lot of kids keen to play ball! The group will also be putting up nets on as many inner city playground hoops as possible.
