Basketball Manitoba's Technical Director, Dan Becker, commented, "We
are very proud of Emily and know she will be a great ambassador
for our province at the national camp!".

Tanya McKay, the 17U Manitoba Provincial Team coach added, "This is a very exciting opportunity for her to be acknowledged and recognized at the National level!  With her size, abilities and potential, this very well deserved!"

Basketball Manitoba and Canada Basketball is pleased to support Emily with this opportunity by covering all costs related to the Toronto camp.  The camps are offered by invite only and bring together the top 24
athletes, 17 years of age and under to vie for a spot on Canada's
National Cadet Team.  The Cadette National team will compete in Mexico
June 13-18, 2011 at the FIBA Americas U16 Championship.
