The
NBA 3on3 Winnipeg Event tips off this Saturday and Sunday at the Red
River Exhibition Park in west Winnipeg (see map below)! Whether you are playing or
just a fan - get out and take part in an exciting weekend of hoops like
only the NBA can offer!
The
deadline to register a team in this weekend's tournament has now
passed. No other teams will be permitted to register from this point on.
Registered teams are to send one representative to the ‘Team Check-in’ on Friday July 17 at Sport Manitoba, 200 Main Street, which is located at the corner of Main Street and York Avenue between 3:00 and 7:00 pm
to receive their tournament schedules, team jerseys and other
information. Team representatives are to bring in signed copies of the Tournament Waiver Forms for all team members to the team check in.
If
you need to replace a player who is already registered, you can do so
at the team check-in. Please bring the new person with you to the team
check in.
Teams
who miss the team check in are to report to the main score board at the
Red River Ex Grounds on Saturday July 18 by 8:00 am. You will get your
tournament schedule then along with other information.
Games will begin at 9:00 am each day. Teams are required to show up to their first game RAIN or SHINE.

What to bring to NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers...
Game days can be long and very warm, therefore certain items are recommended when on-site for NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers.
These include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Sports clothes (i.e. sports shoes and shorts; a reversible silver and black NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers jersey
will be supplied to every registered player; under extenuating
circumstances, If jerseys cannot be worn, all team members MUST wear
the same color shirt.)
- Sun block
- A hat to wear when not playing (certain venues do not provide a great deal of shaded area)
- Plenty of water to last throughout the day
- Your own ball to practice with on empty courts
What to expect at NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers
NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers is the NBA’s only
official 3on3 tournament in Canada. It is a weekend full of events that
bring a true NBA-style experience to your city. From games, to NBA
players, NBA entertainers, TV personalities, contests, giveaways, and
more!
The first slotted games begin at 9am on both Saturday and Sunday
morning. These games run until approximately 5pm on both those
evenings, with teams getting breaks between games to check out the
other on-site activities.
Throughout the day, there are many activities to participate in and/or be a spectator at. These include the NBA 3on3 presented by Rogers Half Time Show and continuous activities throughout the day on all sponsor courts. Click HERE for more details on On-Site Activities.
