identification camp on Tuesday, July 15 from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. at the
University of Manitoba Investors Group Athletic Centre.
The purpose of the camp will be to identify and select players for the 2008/2009 Junior Bisons Grade 7 Boys Gold Team and Brown Team. Players born in 1996 or later are invited to attend. Each player should come equipped with:
- - $15 to cover the expenses of the camp
- - an indoor quality basketball
- - appropriate, non-marking footwear
- - water
The Junior Bison Gold team will be entering a team into the Rising Stars league in the Major Atom Boys division and will participate in multiple tournaments throughout the year. The team will practice a minimum of two days per week. Players selected for this team will not have the option of playing WMBA Community Club basketball.
The Junior Bison Brown team will participate in exhibition games and tournaments throughout the year. The team will schedule practices a minimum of two days per week. Players selected for this team will have the option of playing WMBA Community Club basketball.
