Mission.
To promote and develop the sport of youth basketball in the Winnipeg area through elite programs and teams offering to athletes utilizing high quality volunteer coaches.
Vision and Objectives.
The Jr. Bison Boys Basketball Club will be respected locally and provincially for the quality of its programs and the commitment and skill of its volunteers. The Club will provide leadership, coordination and direction for all participants and volunteers within the framework of a not-for-profit organization. An executive team will direct the Club and will be responsible for the management and sound financial operation.
The Club objectives are center on:
Participation Development - by operating programs that significantly increase opportunities for elite basketball skill development.
Safe Environment - by providing a secure, positive, non-threatening and enjoyable playing environment.
Individual Growth - by establishing programs that strive to develop the individual through positive team experience.
Player Development - by providing programs that identify, develop and train athletes and leaders for regional and provincial competition.
