(Toronto, Ontario) Canada Basketball has announced that The Score will
air a five-part series entitled “The Rebirth of Canada Basketball” from
August 13 -17, 2007. These segments will be showcasing the Senior Men’s
National Team at their training camp as they prepare for the FIBA
America’s Olympic Qualification Tournament in August.







“The Score has always been the strong supporter of basketball in Canada,” said Senior Men’s national team head coach, Leo Rautins. “This behind the scenes look is a great way for basketball enthusiasts to learn more about our athletes who will be wearing the red & white and representing our country.”



The Score’s Jason Thom, who produced and directed these features, has followed the men’s national team over the past month to give an all-access look at the how a national team is assembled.  Viewers will have a chance to get to know players as they prepare to compete on the world stage.



The complete broadcast schedule for “The Re-Birth of Canada Basketball” is outlined below.  In addition, features will also be posted on www.thescore.ca after each broadcast.
